What should I bring to my first hot yoga class?

Preparing for your first class doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Here’s exactly what you need for hot yoga:

  • A yoga mat (or rent one at the studio)

  • A towel (you’ll sweat more than you expect so one for the class and one to shower after or your can rent these at the studio)

  • Water (hydration is key)

  • Lightweight, breathable clothing

Optional but helpful: an extra towel and a change of clothes for after class.

Try to avoid eating a heavy meal right before class, and arrive a few minuted early before you walk in.
